Just up the street is Café Nho. This is frequented by many locals, who gather out on tables and chairs streetside for their daily dose of Vietnamese coffee. Bankstown’s leafy streets, reminiscent of a Parisian vibe, lead you to Paul Keating Park, which has recently re-opened with a new splash park, surrounded by Western University, the Bryan Brown Theatre, and the Bankstown Knowledge and Learning Centre. These impressive buildings showcase the city’s growth and renewal.

Saigon Social, Seafood Master
Spend an afternoon trying a variety of cuisines at Little Saigon Plaza. There is a host of places to discover, including Seafood Master, Saigon Social and Soju Social. This destination is a hive of activity, colours and flavours. The people are wonderful, sharing their diverse backgrounds, stories, language and culture, through food.

As you return to Chapel Street, Pitago awaits. Inspired by Hue, this venue offers a unique Vietnamese/French Colonial dining experience. For an evening adventure, visit Basement Brewhouse a nighttime watering hole, worth a visit. Located within Bankstown Sports Club there are plenty fabulous dining options, including the Brewhouse, home to the South West’s own craft beers. Try some of the 30+ on offer.

Soak in the views at Lady Banks Rooftop
Finally our last stop on this culinary Bankstown adventure Lady Banks Rooftop, Sydney’s largest rooftop bar. Lady Banks offers stunning views of Greater Western Sydney’s skyline. The perfect backdrop for a casual Mediterranean meal paired with excellent wines, and delicious cocktails.
