We’re bringing the Campsie Lantern Festival back to light up Anzac Mall and Anzac Park as we wrap up the Year of the Horse in style.

Join us on Saturday 28 February 2026, 5–9.30pm, for mouth-watering Asian cuisines, vibrant cultural entertainment and plenty of free kids activities.

Don’t miss the colourful Campsie Catwalk, traditional outfits, glowing lanterns and high-energy Lion Dancing. Plus, snap a pic with our stunning Lantern Lady!

Please note: the event includes loud music, bright lights and firecrackers.

Bus
  1. Start at Bankstown Station:
    Head to the Bankstown bus interchange next to the train station.
  2. Catch Bus 400:
    Take Bus 400 from Bankstown Station (towards Burwood) and get off at Campsie Station.
    The trip takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
  3. Arrival at Campsie:
    You’ll be dropped off directly at Campsie Station, a short walk to most festival activities.
Parking

Parking is limited, so we recommend using public transport. If you do drive, be aware of potential parking constraints. If you’re heading to Anzac Mall in Campsie, there are several parking options available nearby. Here’s a quick guide to help you find parking:

Campsie Shopping Centre car park

  • Location: Inside the Campsie Shopping Centre, just off Beamish Street, near Anzac Mall.
  • Details: This is the main parking lot for visitors to the shopping centre and Anzac Mall.
  • Parking fee: Typically offers free parking for a limited time (e.g., 1-2 hours). After that, a fee may apply for extended stays.
  • Convenience: Directly adjacent to Anzac Mall, perfect for quick access to the mall and surrounding shops.

Street parking

  • Location: Available around Beamish Street, Canterbury Road and South Parade.
  • Details: Limited street parking is available in the surrounding streets. Check the signs for time limits and restrictions.
  • Parking fee: Many of the streets offer paid parking with time limits, usually between 1–2 hours. There may also be free parking spots in nearby residential areas if you don’t mind walking a bit further.

Campsie Railway Station car park

  • Location: Adjacent to Campsie Station on Clarke Street, a short walk from Anzac Mall.
  • Parking fee: Paid parking is available. Rates are generally reasonable for a few hours of parking.
  • Convenience: Walking distance (around 5–10 minutes) from Anzac Mall and good for those using public transport to complete their journey.
Walking

Starting point:
Head out of Campsie Station and walk along the main road Beamish Street until you arrive at Anzac Mall.

Walk along the main road:
Continue walking along Northam Avenue or Beamish Street, heading towards Campsie. The walk is around 5 km and should take about 45-60 minutes depending on your pace.
