We’re launching our first Dinner Crawl in Bankstown on Wednesday 22 July, 6-9pm. Enjoy three stops at Tokyo Samba, Titanic Restaurant & Cafe and Volcanos Steakhouse.

Ready to feast? Take your tastebuds on a tour of Bankstown during the festival, sampling everything from Lebanese pizza and Vietnamese pancakes to grilled pork steamed rice rolls, original purple rice yoghurt, crispy pork bánh mì and more.

All Bankstown tours will run on Saturday 25 July. Tickets are $22 + GST per person.

Meet our culinary line-up!

We’re excited to welcome Courtney Roulston, MasterChef Allstars contestant, Coles Ambassador and host of Channel 10’s Farm to Fork, as MC on the day, bringing the energy to the stage and cooking up two live dishes: pork & ginger wonton noodle soup and sesame prawns with prawn shell chilli crisp dressing.

We’re also launching our first BBQ Masterclass with Ben Farley from The BBQ Cooking School, taking place at Bites Kitchen from noon–1.30pm.

Expect a premium BBQ experience featuring king prawns with nahm jim dressing, Bass Strait sirloin steak with feta, basil and pea salad, and chocolate lava pudding with cream and balsamic strawberries.

Tickets are $65 + GST, strictly limited to 20 spots.

Kick off your weekend at Griffith Park, Bankstown on Friday 24 July from 5-9pm for an evening of community fun, live entertainment and great food!

Bring your family and friends and enjoy live music, free kids’ activities, prizes to win, food sampling and a huge selection of food stalls and trucks featuring crepes, paella, gelato, burritos, gyros and more.

How do I get there?

We recommend using public transport. It’s just a five-minute stroll from Bankstown Train Station and the bus interchange. Follow the signs and you’re there!

Is the event cashless?

Some stalls may accept cash, while others are cashless. The Food Tours are EFTPOS only so make sure to bring your card or digital payment.

There are a few ATMs close by:

  • 7-Eleven – 122 Bankstown City Plaza
  • Cash Card ATM – 102 Bankstown City Plaza
  • Bankstown Sports Club – 8 Greenfield Parade
What if it rains?

The event will still go ahead if it rains. Just keep an eye on our social media for any important updates or changes.

Can I bring my dog?

Only registered assistance dogs are permitted at the event due to food safety and hygiene requirements.

Will alcohol be available?

Alcohol will not be sold at the event. However, there are several licensed venues within walking distance of Griffith Park.

Is the event accessible?

Yes. Griffith Park is wheelchair and pram accessible. Please note some businesses participating in the Food Tours may have limited accessibility.

Is there a quiet space available?

Yes. A supervised Sensory Calming Space will be available in Griffith Park for anyone needing a quieter environment during the event.

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, halal or gluten-free options?

Yes. A variety of stalls and local businesses will offer vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten-free options.
