Eligibility
o Entrants must reside in Sydney NSW.
o Councilors, Council employees, and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.
o Open to all residents of Canterbury-Bankstown and Sydney residents and visitors.
o Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.
o Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
o *Lunch voucher is based on an average value for a family of four and is valued at $150 at Frankies Food Factory Milperra, Henry Lawson Drive.
o *Entertainment Voucher is for $350.

How to enter
Competition timeframes are as follows:
o The Competition commences at 9am AEST on Friday the 18th of October 2024.
o Submissions close at 11.59pm AEST on Friday 1 November 2024.
o Lost or late entries will not be considered.
o Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will not be considered.
o Council reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence), and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process.
o Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Council’s discretion.
o Offensive, incomplete, inappropriate, late or lost entries will not be considered. Any entries submitted with false information will be discarded.
o Council will make the final decision as to the winner based on vote counts.
o Subscribe to the Where Interesting Happens newsletter via wih.city/win.
o All entries must be received by 11.59pm on November 1, 2024 AEST. Late entries will not be considered.

Prize
o Voucher prizes will be distributed to the winning entries nominated email address.
o One winner will receive the day out in Canterbury-Bankstown package which includes a $350 Entertainment Park Voucher and a lunch for four at Frankies Food Factory Milperra. The total prize is therefore worth $500 AUD.
o The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

General
Any promotional details written about the competition form part of the rules, and entry constitutes acceptance of these rules.

Winner selection
o The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be communicated via social media.
o If the prize is not claimed, or the winner does not respond within 72 hours, a new winner will be selected.
o One winner will receive the day out in Canterbury-Bankstown package, which includes a $350 voucher Entertainment Park voucher and lunch in Canterbury-Bankstown at a local cafe to the value of $150.
o If we are unable to contact the winner within 72 hours, that contestant forfeits their prize, and the top prize will be randomly selected from the compliant entries.
o The outcome of the competition is final. No correspondence relating to the selection will be entered into.
o The person who enters must reside in Canterbury-Bankstown. Acceptable proof includes a utility bill, rates notice or driver’s license.

Announcement of winner
o The winner will be announced via email and on our WIH socials and must respond within 72 hours to claim the prize. If they do not claim the prize in this time they will forfeit and another winner will be selected at random.
o By entering, participants agree to have their name and entry details used in promotional materials, including the Where Interesting Happens newsletter.

Privacy
o Data Use: Personal data collected will be used solely for this promotion and will not be shared with third parties.
o Marketing Lists: Participants’ contact details will be added to the Where Interesting Happens newsletter list when they enter the competition.
o Access: Entrants may access their personal information held by the Where Interesting Happens team upon request.
