Eligibility

• Councillors, Council employees, and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.
• Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.
• Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
• Participants acknowledge that by submitting their name, they agree to have their name disclosed on the Promoter’s (Council and Where Interesting Happens) website, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter) and eNewsletter for marketing and publicity purposes.

How to enter

• Follow Where Interesting Happens on Facebook and/or Instagram, then complete and submit the entry form on this page.
• The Competition commences at 9am on 17 March 2025 AEST and closes at 11.59pm on 14 April 2025 AEST.
• Submission after the closing date and time will not be accepted.
• The winner will be announced Wednesday 16 April 2025 AEST.
• The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and participants (including a participant’s identity and age), and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process.
• Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
• Offensive, incomplete, inappropriate, late or lost entries will not be considered.
• Any entries submitted with false information will be discarded.

Prize

• One prize winner will receive vouchers to the total value of $500 for Entertainment Park ($300) and The Mill Hotel ($200).
• Prize vouchers must be collected from Council’s Customer Service Centre in Campsie or Bankstown and are subject to the terms and conditions of each individual business.
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

Winner selection and announcement

• The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be communicated via social media; the winner will also be contacted via phone and/or email.
• If we are unable to make contact with the winner within 48 hours on the telephone number and/or email address provided on their entry form, that participant forfeits their prize, and another winner will be randomly selected from the remaining valid entries.
• The outcome of the competition is final. No correspondence relating to the selection will be entered into.
• By entering, participants agree to have their name used in promotional materials and activities, including the Promoter’s website, newsletter and social media channels.
• Council may request a live or recorded interview with the winner for promotional purposes.

Privacy

• Data Use: Personal data collected will be used solely for this promotion and will not be shared with third parties.
• Marketing Lists: Participants’ contact details will be added to the Where Interesting Happens newsletter list when they enter the competition.

General Conditions

• Changes: The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time without prior notice.
• Any promotional details written about the competition form part of the rules and entry constitutes acceptance of these rules.

Copyright and Moral Rights

• Ownership: Participants warrant that they are the owner of all copyright in their entry.
• License: Participants grant Where Interesting Happens a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, exclusive and irrevocable license to use the entry for any legal purpose, including but not limited to marketing and promotional activities.

Disclaimer and Release

• Liability: The Where Interesting Happens team accepts no liability for any claims of intellectual property infringement or moral rights related to an entry.
• Release: The entrant agrees to release the Where Interesting Happens team from any claims concerning infringement and moral rights related to their entry
