Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink in Canterbury is currently closed and under major renovations, with the whole site being rebuilt and upgraded.
The redevelopment is set to bring back a much bigger and better facility, including upgraded spectator areas, new skate hire, improved change rooms and a fresh Olympic-sized ice surface.
Once complete, it is expected to return as a key ice sports hub for the area, but for now it remains firmly off limits while the upgrades are underway.
