Whispering Sky: Tenzin Choegyal with Tenzin Kunsang
Whispering Sky brings together the incredible voice and storytelling magic of Tenzin Choegyal, joined by the talented Tenzin Kunsang.
Tenzin’s known around the world for his soaring vocals, rhythmic grooves and beautiful use of traditional Tibetan instruments — and this show feels like stepping into a calm, expansive world of sound.
He shares songs, personal stories and little glimpses into Tibetan culture in a way that feels warm, open and joyful.
Expect gentle laughs, meditative moments and a few fun singalongs that pull everyone into the experience.
It’s soulful, uplifting and the kind of performance that stays with you.

Saturday 17 January, 7.30pm (70 minutes)
Between Two Realms: Tenzin Choegyal with Wytchings
Between Two Realms brings together two creative forces: Tenzin Choegyal’s expressive vocals and storytelling, and Wytchings’ dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes.
The result is a blend of music, spoken word and improvisation that feels like floating through different worlds.
The show plays with the idea of “in-between spaces” — those moments of stillness, reflection and insight — and turns them into a lush, emotional music experience.
Tenzin and Wytchings come from different backgrounds, but they connect effortlessly onstage, layering sounds that feel both ancient and futuristic.
It’s immersive, heartfelt and perfect for anyone who loves sound that takes you somewhere new.

Sunday 18 January, 2–3.30pm (90 minutes)
Stories and Songs: Musician’s Workshop with Tenzin Choegyal & Tenzin Kunsang
This workshop is all about having fun with music, trying new things and learning straight from two amazing Tibetan performers.
Bring an instrument, your singing voice or just yourself — it’s super relaxed and open to everyone.
Tenzin and Kunsang guide the group through Tibetan-style singing, rhythmic ideas, simple techniques and creative improvisation.
There’s lots of laughter, plenty of learning and a real sense of connection as everyone makes music together.
You’ll walk away with new skills, new sounds and a deeper appreciation of Tibetan musical traditions. It’s welcoming, hands-on and a really special experience to be part of.

Saturday 24 January, 2pm & 7.30pm
Sisa-Sisa
Sisa-Sisa is a powerful double-bill featuring Alfira O’Sullivan and Murtala, two artists sharing deeply personal stories through movement, song and Indonesian cultural expression.
Murtala’s work looks back on his time helping communities after the 2004 Aceh tsunami, turning tough memories into a moving tribute filled with strength and heart.
Alfira’s piece explores womanhood, shifting bodies and the quiet stories that shape identity, blending body percussion, vocals and expressive choreography.
Together, these works feel raw, honest and beautifully human. Sisa-Sisa is emotional without being heavy, and full of moments that stay with you long after the final bow.
