Until October, dive into all things Italian – from gelato and gnocchi to toe-tapping folk music and hands-on art workshops. Pick your favourites, bring your friends and get a taste of la dolce vita close to home.

You’ll find delicious flavours, lively tunes and plenty of chances to roll up your sleeves and join in. The best part? It’s all happening right here, in the heart of our community.

Sweet Italian Treats

Gelato-making with Virginia & Luigi

What’s more Italian than fresh, creamy gelato? Watch Virginia and Luigi, our local gelato artisans and cultural ambassadors, as they share the art of creating this frozen favourite.

You’ll see how the flavours come together, pick up some insider tips and maybe even sample a scoop (or two).

This sweet session is perfect for all ages – bring the kids or come with friends for a sugar-coated afternoon.

Catch them at Bankstown (15 Aug), Campsie (22 Aug), Chester Hill (29 Aug), Riverwood (5 Sep), Panania (19 Sep), Earlwood (10 Oct), Padstow (17 Oct), and Greenacre (24 Oct).

Hands-On Italian Cooking

Gnocchi-making demonstrations

Soft, pillowy and loaded with flavour – gnocchi is comfort food the Italian way.

Our live demos walk you through the process, from rolling the dough to that perfect fork mark.

You’ll learn the secrets behind creating light, melt-in-the-mouth gnocchi and hear stories about the Southern Italian traditions it comes from.

It’s a fun and interactive way to connect with Italian culture while picking up some kitchen skills to impress at home.

Join in at Bankstown (13 Sep), Lakemba (11 Oct), and Campsie (18 Oct) – and get ready to leave inspired (and maybe a little hungry).
