Bone Drift: Chimeric Conversations flips the script on identity, disability and the unexpected connections between materials, bodies and people.
This bold exhibition brings together artist and researcher Helen Pynor and creative producer Lizzie Crouch in a mashup of art, medical science, disability theory and real-life experiences.
Step into a space filled with artefacts from a hands-on workshop where participants worked with real bone, explored the craft of bone china, and created personal pieces from metal, wax, embroidery and bone china.
With Pynor’s striking installation Habitation (2021) setting the scene, Bone Drift: Chimeric Conversations sparks fresh perspectives on identity, fluidity and the blurred lines between ability and disability—now and in the future.
