Bankstown Lunar New Year 2027
Start the Year of the Fire Goat in style!
Get ready for high-energy entertainment, a roaring Chinese dragon and lions, the buzzing Lunar Garden and appearances from the God and Goddess of Fortune.
And of course, there’ll be plenty to eat and drink, with food and drink stalls serving up a delicious mix of cuisines.
More details about this long-running Lunar New Year celebration will be added in the coming months, so stay tuned!
Road closures: Road closures will be in place around Olympic Parade from 8am to midnight on Saturday 30 January 2027. Please follow signage and directions on site for detours.
Stallholders: Want to be part of the celebration? Expressions of Interest are now open! Apply HERE. Applications close at 5pm on Monday 5 October 2026.
